Yo...

hey the cross country season is over... It juz came and went! it was real fun while it lasted too... In Mr Gi's final debrief for the season, he mentioned there were 3 parts to it... 1st part was high milege with some scattered intervals... 2nd part was an increase of quality trainings, with more intervals... i missed out the entire 2nd part due to injury! I juz came back somewhere during the 3rd part where it was high intensity stuff...

12 April.

I wont forget that day in a hurry... "Go get your Title" was the final word before the A boys race.. it was time to deliver, time to uncover the endurance that worthy champions hold.. from the start, Dashnanth took off in the lead..and so followed everyone else...

The pain and agony of sprinting 4.5km is probally undescribable.. adding to that the pressure for success and unexceptable failure, and it can be unnerving... ACJC, to be fair, really had a good day and ran an excellent race.. Kusal Leon Colin were really pushing the pace, trying to stick to mathew... farrell dex were storming just behind with nabil...

Hwa chong confirmed their status as sneaky dogs by keeping a low profile this entire year... They managed to avoid attention from everyone and sneaked in at the end...examples include xianglong running a crap race in wings, nga ting and samuel running badly in wings too registered as individuals rather than team...

So concluded things.. perhaps we were stunned... its difficult to accept something that u have declared before as failure..and begging to turn back time.. But looking back, was it really failure? Are we failures? us guys and girls have sacrificed, toiled, shed tears, blood, suffered, dunked, swam, picked trash, sung, cheered, joked, failed, succeeded and ran as one.
as a team.

We may have not be champions to ppl who never really cared less, but do we need to prove anything to them?

We are champions because we stand up and lift our heads high even thru disappointments. We may not have done our best, but we did the best we could do for that day... we pick ourselves up after we fall, and look forward.. to ourselves, we are the best team there can ever be.. to our coaches, they may be disappointed with the results, but never disappointed in US.

haha i kinda like the way this human character thing gets introduced into stuff..

yesterday there was another 4C outing... me, boon tat and kenneth watched some pro dude complete the entire game of House of the dead 4 with full life remaining...he headshotted almost everyone.. and we play pool..tried to tail JH but failed...

there was sports day too.. quite fun... k.
