Friday, April 29, 2005 Yo... sometimes i wonder wads happens next... presently the situation is juz going to school. doing tutorials and lectures.. after school physical conditioning... some mentoring, photography and tuition every now and then... dun really have some game which can be played on the com...partially due to lack of time... SPAs and departmental tests every week... chinese O levels looming in the distance... ya i think that sums it up....sounds cool eh? today had some sports day.... asked to run 4 X 100....wasnt really thinking of such a short distance...was thinking 400m would be more ideal.. anyway i pulled thigh muscle while warming up... and took some last minute training with some proper runners... Then Bala, came so i decided not to run..quite a relief actually.... but later turned out that he was quite a bad runner and made pegasus ultra last... maybe muscle pull too? Ya then ran 20X 100... quite fun actually... we almost won... maybe our tactics needed some changes... then played soccer till 7 30... was quite fun again... long time nvr play decent soccer.... we played pegasus and ursa vs Pheonix and the rest... i scored about 5 goals as we won 7-2... felt my old form a bit... haha felt quite free... its a great feeling to skip past 1 last defender and prode the ball in goal sideways... haha probally will be a long time have such time to play again... Ok lets see... i have got to do my PI eventually... wondering if i shd start now or something...maybe later... Hope that i can learn to gather up courage and work towards my goals... rather than juz sitting around wondering... Ya so thats the plan...simple plan.. cya next week.... Friday, April 22, 2005 Yo.. ok it wasnt 1 week since i last blogged haha... its 6 days.. listening to the LOTR song now... it still rocks...has tonnes of emotion in it.. if the school band could play 1/2 as good as that they would rock... Ya i downloaded a few yellowcard songs... Way away... and "Rough Draft" rocks...sounds like one of the best songs ive heard in recent times... all the simple plan songs are the best songs too... Oh ya now im juz sitting around wondering wassup...ok perfect has juz started playing... i dunno la but i think that its time for a break.. a break... lectures and tutorials have begun to be apy... its juz missing...missing the spark of the day... there are no more com games to talk about... there are no more ppl playing com games.. to be exact.. haha... lik khian plays dota... joel asking me to play dota.. but im noob at it... Me and leonard ran for 200m heats on tuesday... juz slacking around.. and running seemed the funnest thing to do... quite cool that both of us ended up in the finals... we muz try to put up a small fight with the rest on sports day though... or else if ultra last then a bit no meaning... i ran 4.8 after humans quiz on wednesday... then ran 4.8 on thursday with andy... pity today cannot run cos got some photog assignment at CCHS... take photos of table tennis.. ok lets place our priorities on upcoming events.... 1. Bio/Chem SPAs..B, C, D skills... 2. NAPFA 3. Symphony Of Voices.. can meet up.. 4. Chinese A levels... 5. Project work.. 6. Bio/ Physics lecture assessments.. 7. Star Wars: The revenge of the sith 8. Soccer with the rest.. 9. Pool... Bowling.. Movies... 10. with the right people... ok i juz wrote down the first 10 stuff i though of... ill go get a nice drink of pepsi now cos super thirsty... cya next week.. Saturday, April 16, 2005 Yo... Hey i cant believe that the last post i made was 1 weeek ago!... seriously it felt like juz a few days ago.. ok maybe 7 days is a few days... this week was quite a week... bio test, chinese test, chem and bio skill b trials which i messed up...ya... next week will be slightly better... only chemistry lecture assessment.. ya right.. this week i ran 2.4 once only i think... after gymming with leonard... ok he was doing the exercises and i was doing the sitting around... timing still stuck at 10 05... need to reach my peak of 9 40 soon... quite laggy now... cos NAPFA is coming.. my pull ups also need 1 more pull up... to meet 10... cos im reading off from the 18 years old criteria.. someone told me they were reading it by that... dunno how true.. ya... ok i was looking at the yellowcard site juz now... some violins... Oh ya vs took the national stage with an oopmh... dominating and taking down the rest of the competition like Hwa Chong Institution... Achievements : Best choir in singapore.. ( yay we equipped them with the skills to take them there... its quite a good moment... also makes me wonder why im floundering around with uncertainty in CCAs now...) band got gold with honours... and Cross country B and C division champions... so far 18 years running we have captured at least one title... sounds quite impressive btw if anyone feels offended after reading this... shd really go away... its like my business whether i want to praise my alma mater... and VS rocks... ya.. if u dun thk so then u can go write bad stuff on your own blog... yup... Btw i realised that it actually takes time... to get out of the dream and into reality... actually reality might be better then the dream after all..makes ppl wonder how they dreamt such lousy dreams in the first place..... Ive been thinking about it abit... yesterday played some pictionary game with aileen...and eddy... my drawings are not too good... like a hen i was trying to draw looked like cat... but it was fun... today we had a VJ parents teacher session.. sort of lost concentration after 10 mins of wad the principal was saying.. andy and everyone else too i guess.... hope it will not be 1 week before i blog again... cos that would mean im actually busy... and btw im hoping to get the photog catalog head post... ok cya... Saturday, April 09, 2005 Yo... its been a while.. yup. i realised that as time passes a lot of stuff changes.. even we dun notice it until a while... like last year we went home and played GB.. we formed guilds.. we leveled up.. and did stuff... ya now after chinese tuition i was wondering wad to next... not like ill study.. and nobody to play soccer with.. no chionging CCAs like choir to go.. no great games with many friends playing... actually nobody is playing at all....maybe dedicate a bit of time singing... project work has been unvielded... ya.. it has two anyhow topics... both are anyhow so i haven got too many ideas yet... and we didnt go for class lunch this week due to the evil Mr chong who kept us back... went to the gym with leonard on thursday to see wassup in it... some machines in it... some were human machines pumping 60kg for 12 repetitions.. and there were the gym machines too... and went i tried doing 60kg the machines jammed on me... funny that they worked again at 37.5kg.... then got some rowing machine which we did for 15 mins... my avr timing a bit doggish.. 2.22....didnt really sustain the 1.59 which i managed to reach once... leonards was probally 2.08....the new weapon.. ya a bit weakish... but nvm im feeling quite happy about improvement... ok besides that... spent a few days of the week doing maths tutorials ( GP and binomial) in the library with the rest.... finally caught up... at least i tot so... until the maths guy asked whether we done trigo.. looks like still lagging by 3 tutorials...a bit no diff... In the arms of an angel.. fly away from here... Oh ya yesterday was Musicfest... quite an ok day i guess.. later i went to Mandarin.. was playing with a six year old kid... ( joels sister)... within 1 minute she detected the oh yas in my talking and started jumping around laughing about it.... a bit... the music at musicfest wasnt too bad... Black 5 were dam cool... thats all for the dancing.. every vocalist who went up went flat somewhere in their songs... maybe cos of tension... even the acappella grp had an unnatural chord towards the end which was wrong... but oh well.... got that TKSS guy from vocal consort... quite a good singer actually... he sang for the bananas.. disliked the song actually... but they won anyway... the other bands had bad vocalists ( very common for these kind of bands) but good gamesmanship ( jump up and down) and good guitarist, choice of song.. and stuff... Ill do anything by SP was sang... crappily i guess.. but at least it got sang... the filler items with Parousia were the best... bought their albums... yup tomorrow got some mug soc outing 2.... for the bio test on monday... Monday, April 04, 2005 Yo... today is monday... btw haven updated in a while... we had PE.. and soccer today... the soccer pitch was a bit small though... far too small...ya and i think that i need to hurry up buy another decent football to practice at home.. the one in school is a bit lousy..and my control seems to have dropped slightly..or maybe its the shoe.. i think the basketball days of 05s17 are ending... like today we didnt play... and basketball day thursday nvr seems to have anyone playing.. and next week 4 got a test too... and the next week 5... and the next week 6.. and 7.. and 8... and 9... all got test.... lol... a bit weedish...on sunday we went to airport to have a study session.. guess it was relatively more effective than playing com at home... ya but a bit doggish.. like always... next week probally will have the similar kind of session... btw photog ppl are about to run for exco liao... there are 6 positions up.. chief photog, chairman, vice chair, secretary. treasurer, catalog head... My mentee is older than me.. a bit unusual cos mentee are supposed to be younger... ya he was the former captain of VS soccer team... plus being 17, confirm relatively pro... btw tomorrow is tuesday... its a day with many lectures tutorials and every subject but chinese... sounds like erm... not fun... dunno if i shd tell my mentee to meet... wonder if i shd book the VJ choir concert tickets online... or thru the sistic outlet... ill think... | ||
